Dr. Noorda is the best dentist I've ever been to in years. He's always personable, understanding and makes you feel like family. He doesn't make you feel rushed and always listens. His staff is amazing as well. Many years have kept me away from the dentist, and I am very thankful I chose Dr. Noorda to be my dentist.

What level of education is required to be a dentist?

First, the aspiring dentist must earn their undergraduate degree and be accepted to an accredited dental school in the US. Then, they must undergo 3+ years of in-classroom and hands-on training to obtain their Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or a Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) degree. To maintain their license, they must also complete continuing education hours each year.

How do I get emergency dental care?

That depends largely on one thing: are you experiencing any potentially life-threatening symptoms? If you are having trouble breathing, you’re bleeding uncontrollably, or you think your jawbone may be broken, then call 911 or head to the ER right away. If you’re not, and you reside in Green Valley South, then call our dental office ASAP. In addition to scheduling an emergency appointment, we will walk you through what to do to properly handle your dental injury or symptoms in the meantime.

While we can’t provide you with an estimate of the cost here, we can provide you with a number once we know more about your unique dental needs. We will also review the financial solutions we welcome at that time, including our Smile Protection Savings Program.
