Brett Noorda, D.M.D., F.A.G.D., Ma.C.S.D.
Dr. Brett Noorda believes patients come first. For that reason, he spends time with each patient to learn their concerns and explain any treatment he sees may be needed. He strives for excellence in providing quality treatment, honesty, and patient safety and comfort. A native of Las Vegas, the doctor currently lives in Henderson, where he entered private practice in 1996. He’s created a dental office where patients can be seen quickly, relax, and enjoy personalized attention. The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA) grants membership in the College of Sedation in Dentistry to dentists who "complete the ADA requirements for advanced education in conscious sedation, successfully pass the ADSA conscious sedation examination, obtain training in basic or advanced cardiac life support and demonstrate continued education in anesthesia and pain control." In passing the Master Exam, the College of Sedation in Dentistry within the A.D.S.A. recognized Dr. Brett Noorda as a "Master in the College of Sedation" giving him the additional professional designation MaCSD. Dr. Brett Noorda has been helping patients in need of conscious sedation since 2006.
Education & Affiliations
The doctor graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1992 with a major in zoology and a minor in humanities. He received his DMD in 1996 from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with Honors and received the Larry E. Sorum Memorial Award for Excellence in Endodontics.
Dr. Brett Noorda loves to learn and use his knowledge to address the unique requirements of each patient. Currently, he has taken more than 750 hours of dental continuing education in all areas of dentistry, with emphasis on sedation dentistry, dental implants, root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics. Dr. Brett Noorda is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association. Additionally, he is certified in the State of Nevada to administer IV sedation.
Dr. Brett Noorda received the Academy of General Dentistry’s Fellowship Award in 2006. Only seven percent of general dentists nationwide have received this prestigious designation. To earn his FAGD, Dr. Brett Noorda took 500 hours of continued education from an approved provider and passed the fellowship exam. Fellowship with the AGD is one way in which Dr. Brett Noorda proves his dedication to stay current with the latest trends in dentistry.
Family Life & Community Involvement
The doctor and his wife are grateful for their four great kids. His family enjoys the outdoors and likes to go camping, hiking, biking, and swimming. In his spare time, the doctor enjoys mountain biking, backpacking, and rock climbing. Dr. Brett Noorda is an Eagle Scout and actively serves the Scouts in his community. He’s an avid photographer, as well.
